Topic: Nintendo Land freezing

Ok I'm not going to go through a bunch of pages to find the thread. >_>
Anyways, first off...I thought Nintendo said they were going to fix this, why haven't they? :/
Second, how do you deal with this exactly, because I just wanna play some multiplayer games with everyone for once. Playing them by myself or with just another person gets boring quickly. T.T

Just restart the game until it stops freezing. Some people are lucky whereas others are not. Mine only freezes before the title screen loads

...Umm, no it freezes every single time, its not random. If more than 2 people play, it locks up at the beginning of a minigame.

Based on what I've read here and on the Nintendo support forums, the above and/or deleting your Internet connection have solved the problem for 90 percent of the people.

You are running firmware 2.1.0 right? You can verify this in the wii u setup. All of my freezing in Nintendo Land (and other games) completely vanished after updating to 2.1.0 (released on December 5th).

If you're still freezing up constantly after updating, the best advice is to call Nintendo and get a replacement console while you still have the warranty.

No. That isn't a system problem, it's a firmware problem. Just delete the internet settings and you'll be set

Reset it, or delete it permanently? Because I still use it every now and then.
Any way to turn off online features for the game itself?

You have to delete it completely. Not exactly a terrific solution... but for those who believe everything is a software problem, its the best band aid you've got until Nintendo releases another patch.

Worked for me. And my freezing was HORRIBLE. But now its never happened again after doing this!

Also, remember that my freezing happens during multiplayer, when more than two people are playing. Have you played it with a group?

Just go run some other apps on the Wii U to 'get out the kinks'. I just ran other games and stuff even BEFORE the update, and my console fixed itself. Like others said, re establishing your internet connection is always a good restart point, and 'english' only option in NL will just lower comments and internet feed, which could also help even if you weren't having freezes. I haven't had any freezes since like, 5 days after the console came out... I'm pretty sure the whole issue is internet related, along side the firmware supporting it.

Yeah deleting the internet settings worked...so we got to play some of the multiplayer games for once. (with more than 2 people, lol)
...Until we got to the Zelda one, turns out one of the Motion Plus attachments is messed up...when its calibrating you can see its Wiimote icon freaking out and spinning like crazy. xD Nothing will work though, so I'm guessing something got damaged inside. :/ Ah well.

Quick question, you can still play with non +wiimotes too right?

At least you can open it, and mess with what's inside now. The only reason I ever open stuff up, is if it's broken or cost more to fix than to just find a replacement. I can't even find one of my motion plus things, or my wireless sensor bar because of my bro...

You have to have motion plus remotes for Metroid Blast, the rest of the games work w/o.

Thanks! I only have a two motion + accessories, but four wiimotes, so this is good for me! :3

The Zelda game needs Motion+ as well.

Oh ya, sorry about that... It plays like an on-rails Skyword Sword.

Or basically that sword game from Wii Sports Resorts.
