Topic: Nintendo fanbase intolerant to criticism?

Not sure if the OP is a troll or not, bringing in discussions from WiiUDaily, but:

1. Why would it be of importance to tell people on random forums how Nintendo should do its business? IMO, it's a huge difference to discuss the business side of a company, compared to discussing the actual products?
2. If the price point of a product is an issue (such as Captain Toad in the OP example), why not just skip it?

Just... why?

There was a whine about Captain Toad in the OP? TBH I didn't read it.... because damn, look at that thing. Makes the usual sized walls of texts look like garden edging.

You realize games start development BEFORE they're announced right? Captain Toad clearly had more than a year of work put into it, so your "captain toad level pack developed in less than a year, they cant charge near full price" claim seems a little baseless.

I apologize if this sounds harsh but please understand that i mean this with the utmost sincerity:

All I'm getting from this is that no one listened to you and your amazing, never-been-brought-up-before ideas and you're trying to rationalize how that possibly could've happened. No one wants to hear criticism about something they love. This is true for every community, whether it be about TV shows, books, games, movies, science, politics, religion, you name it. I'm not saying you shouldn't have said what you said, but please set aside any thoughts of being a special snowflake and if you're being an armchair analyst or expert, own it and move on. It's not an insult, it's an accurate descriptor. Bringing fuel with you like this from one community to another does nothing to further your cause, whatever it may be.

If you want to participate and discuss, by all means do so! just be ready for when someone disagrees, and there will always be someone disagreeing on the internet :3
