according to Cnet Nintendo will be at CES with the Wii U being the first public showing since E3. Hype is on max level for Ces this year.

So has CNET confirmed that the Xbox 3 is NOT being revealed at CES?

They haven't announced anything. Also Mircosoft's big CES push is windows 8 in which they are the software maker.

That and and an annocument like Xbox TV and Nextbox won't be known till the mircosoft conference

But Nintendo never officially stated that they will be at CES. So that editor just presented a rumor as fact.

there is a good chance that this is a private event and this guy broke embargo.

sony Had an event last week that was press only. So far the only information to make it out was the sorcery stuff even though its been confrimed other stuff was shown.

That or it may be an event in tandam with ces. Like how Nintendo doesn't attend TGS but has its own event during the same time.

still seems early. I know someone at ubisoft leaked infomation that Nintendo was supposed to have an event this month but canceled it too wait until the new year. That and GDC seems more like nintendo's mo.

Food for though Nintendo did the same thing with the 3DS this year. same time frame too.
