Did Iwata say they were going to be talking entirely about Wii U games at the conference? I hope they can squeeze some 3DS games in too.
He used a phrase like "don't worry, there will be plenty of 3DS news at available opportunities" which did suggest to me that there wouldn't be much 3DS stuff focussed on at E3.
Wonder how well those message boxes really work. They make sense in an overworld like a Mario games. But imagine playing skyrim and text boxes are everywhere.

I almost forgot, "that was unique" is what we should be thinking...which would be accurate...if the one game they showed us wasn't New Super Mario Bros. Mii.
No, I'm not getting over this. [.......]
That wasn't their E3 press conference......

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
Did anyone notice that after Nintendo Week got cancelled, Gary must've gotten a new job? I mean, the guy from the tech demo was clearly him. Nice to see Nintendo didn't lay him off. I was hoping he'd do Nintendo Update which replaced it, and when I learned it didn't have a host, I thought for sure he was laid off. He did an okay job, though like Nintendo Week, the humor could use some work.

I hope that we hear these few things (and more) about the Wii U at E3/Nintendo Direct:
1. Multiple Wii U controllers for local multiplayer
2. The final product of the Wii U controller
3. Whether or not the Wii U name changes
Those are the 2nd to 4th most important issues to me. The absolute most important issue is PRICE. I am one-hundred PERCENT willing to spend $450 on the Wii U. If I have to, I will spend $500. If I have to pull a PS3, then no. I will have to wait for the Wii U to drop. BUT ONLY IF I HAVE TO PAY $600+ FOR THE Wii U.
I learned about all of these things! With the announcement of Miiverse, the WiiU Pro, and the GamePad; price isn't that much of an issue. I would be willing to pull a PS3. There is still a limit though, if I have to pay more than $650, then I will have to apologize and wait for a price drop.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
But I'm going to say the WiiU is going to cost $350. It's a nice sweetspot and Nintendo likes launching their next gen consoles at an affordable price (Gamecube was the least expensive back in 2001 when released compared to PS2 and the most expensive Xbox).
the one thing that i'm a little confused about is controller compatibility. they mentioned wiimote and nunchuck but not classic controllers, i have a TvC fightstick (which acts as a CC) and was hopimg to carry it over, now I'm not sure if it will with the new wiiu CC

I think by saying the Nunchuck, they implied that all Wii Remote Attachments are compatible.
