Offspring

I asked about this game in the recommendations thread but no one replied to me so I'm making my own thread. Is the game worth a $30 download? I'm also paralyzed from the chest down with no finger movement so I need a basic explanation of the controls. I have no problem moving the analog sticks or pressing the a, b, x, and y buttons but if the shoulder buttons have to be pressed often it may be to hard for me.

If you're interested in this game I'd suggest getting it on ebay.... I found a new sealed copy for like 12.00 after shipping... I only put in in for a minute to check it out, as I'm working on other games atm, so sorry but I can't recall how often if at all you need to use the shoulder buttons, but for what little bit I played it's definately worth what I payed, for $30 though there are probably other more quality titles you could get... hope this helps and happy gaming..

EDIT: I've just looked at the manual and it appears there is some use of the shoulder buttons to block and aim, as well as center the camera, although I can't say how often these need to be used..

Put over 100 hours into this game love it & you do need to use the shoulder buttons rather a lot to use arrows & block / dodge.

Shoulder buttons are a must with the default control configuration. It's probably worth checking to see if any of the alternate control methods are less dependent. I'll try to check tomorrow, but if anyone else is able to sooner feel free.

Confirmed that the shoulder buttons are a must for shooting arrows and blocking - neither of which are optional.

Its a nice game. Can be hard at times but it is fun. It was the better over the 360/PS3 version due to being sort of a director's cut. Really wish they kept it a Wii U exclusive.
