It would be completely unprofitable for it to be on the Wii U, since a lot more people own a PS3 instead of a Wii U. I'm so buying this game, by the way. :D

Also, for the love of all that's holy, quit complaining about a certain game not being on the Wii U. If you seriously want a game that badly (like Grand Theft Auto V, Final Fantasy XIII, and Sonic Generations for example), then just buy a PS3 or Xbox 360 in order to play that game. Some Nintendo gamers act like it's a sin to buy another console in order to play a certain game they're interested in, but it's not. I can assure you that even if the Wii U gets ports of other games, it will likely be only a few of the new games (and key word being few). There's no reason of not buying another console because a certain game may or may not be on the Wii U. Just buy the other console and play the game you want to play.

Yeah okay. Sure. Can you give me some money to do that? Because you know, not everyone has the funds to keep up on multiple consoles (like me), so we choose which system we'll feel like we've got our money's worth out of.

Sins indeed.

What it isn't on DS? If it is then it isn't anywhere but Japan. I was looking forward to that.

unfortunatly due to localization issues, the ds version is staying in japan.. apparently the ds comes with a physical book, which is the cause..

to play t anywhere else you must have a ps3...

I could see a port or sequel coming to the Wii U. You could use the Touch screen for the book or whatever. I could see it being pretty great.

For the record, Ni No Kuni was on DS first [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b9/NiNoKuni.jpg]. Level-5 can bring it to Wii U if they wanted to.

The bigger the game, the greater the costs in porting it to additional platforms.

Especially since the Wii U version would need to be optimised. Even something as simple as sticking the inventory on the touch screen requires substantial development work.

By the time enough Wii Us have been sold to make a port worthwhile then the game itself will be completely irrelevant to the market - everyone who cares would have it on PS3 already.

And it's worth buying a PS3 for. There's a 1 per cent chance you'll see this on Wii U. So don't count on it.

The game is garbage, I'm so glad there was a demo. I was excited about buying it but the game tries way too hard, it comes off as lifeless and forced. It's a bog standard RPG dressed up with "whimsical" crap that tries to be everything at the same time and has no real identity. Sums up a lot of modern games unfortunately, so much text with so little meaning.

The voices are also really awkward and probably should have been cut from the game if they were going to be so inconsistent.

Lol. So little meaning.

Or just so few basic comprehension skills by the player.

It's not about opinions.

Fact: game has meaning.

Meaning doesnt just disappear because someone doesn't get it.

I played this for a couple hours last night.

Most of that time was just staring at the screen in awe of the beauty. It really is like being in a Ghibli film. So damn incredible. This game just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It just reminds me of the innocence of childhood. I love it so much.

In Grubdog's minor defense, he's only judging it from the demo. A very terrible demo, I might add. On par with the Tales of Vesperia demo, which put me off the entire series that I now love, and hold Tales of Vesperia in particular in extremely high regard.
