Why isn't this coming to Wii U, but it is on PS3 and Xbox? Like you would think a game like this would be exclusive to Wii U.

I didn't really like Ponyo, and haven't seen much of the other ones. They still sell those for around $20-30 anywhere new, and I don't have money like that for old movies, sadly...
Spirited Away is a masterpiece and needs to be seen by everyone.

i was thinking about getting one just to play it too and i guess i could use it as a blue ray player haha since i dont have one
I have a ps3 which I used to use as a blue ray player. Now for some reason it doesn't play any DVDs apart from game discs. I've also been told this is a common problem. I don't have the latest slim one though so could be fix in update or something.

Doesn't really bother me though because we already have two DVD players also I didn't really notice a heap of between bluray and DVD apart from the price.

My brother also said Ariety wasn't that good, and he likes pretty much all their movies. I feel like alot of their recent movies have been kinda just ok, but I've known of Totoro pretty much since I was born.

I wanted the DS one but that is at least a completely understandable "no export for you" game. Honestly, I'm kinda surprised the PS3 game is even being released in America. Why is that going to make a profit again? I mean I hope it does.

I would, but my brother said it wasn't that good and he LOVES those movies. If it shows up on Netflix I'll check it out, but I'm not much of a movie person regardless, so I'm not gonna go buy a movie no matter what it is. Only reason I would buy a movie, is if it's in 3D. Beauty in the Beast 3D, Toy Story 3, etc. are all in 3D, but those Bluray, 3D Bluray, DVD, ultraviolet combo packs are expensive as f***. I don't even have a DVD player anymore, because of bluray, and I guess the ultraviolet DL would be cool, but I don't even have a device to get a digital copy for besides what I would play the movie on anyway. Movies are too expensive for me to buy 'all the good ones'. I'd rather buy an external HDD, worth 3-4 bluray packs.
