Topic: Next Nintendo Game Announcements?

So we haven't really had any updates on any of the major games coming to the Wii U since E3, aside from Super Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors. As Nintendo don't typically attend the Tokyo Game Show, I'm wondering when we're next going to find out more details from some of the games due to be released, including those by the end of the year?

Zelda U, SMTxFE, Xenoblade Chronicles, Mario Maker, Star Fox U, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD, etc... When do people think it's likely we actually hear or see new things about any of these?

End of October, after Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and Smash 3DS have been released

A bayo 2 could be after HW release in NA and captain toad getting one early december if SSB really releases in November. I'm thinking febraury will get maybe a big Nintendo Direct with more info about upcoming gamess including release dates for Yoshi, kirby and Splatoon.

Next game to have a major update will be Captain Toad

october and december will be next nintendo directs or october OR december because they have to say something before the years end or christmas

Another Smash Direct is coming. Early September. I can feel it...

There's been a regular stream of information about Smash. I'd rather hear about Zelda U, SMTxFE, Star Fox and other games we're still very much in the dark about, if only a few explanatory paragraphs of screenshots.

Hopefully, there will be a major VC update, transferring all of the Wii VC (including all the Japanese releases that never made it west), and some new systems (Amiga, Dreamcast, Saturn)

I'd rather hear about the games to should/could see a spring/early summer release. It isn't about what we know anymore, ND's and stuff are the first things to get momentum. They did it with HW, probs do it with CT:TT, Splatoon and so on. The games you mentioned probably will be silenced till E3 setting up to be the hypest poo that uear.

I really hope to see the announcement of GCN, N64, and some DS games but at this point, I've almost given up hope for GameCube games on the VC unless they use that Smash controller. I bet N64 and DS will be coming really soon.

Same. Even though we saw a lot at E3, I feel like we didn't see enough.

I just want a release date for Bayo 2 so I can adjust my gaming budget for October.

in their next announcement, they'll finally give us the Mother 3 on VC, Majora's Mask 3ds and Wii U, release dates, and a real Zelda U trailer.

Zelda U info and gameplay. That's actually the only game that makes me wanna buy a Wii U. I mean I will get other games for it, but Zelda is what I'm looking forward too the most.

I'm expecting a general Nintendo Direct within the next three weeks, with its main focus on Smash 3DS, ORAS and Bayo 2. It'll also announce a Wii U price drop and some reward for everyone who's already bought it. Finally, it'll shed some light on Amiibo/DLC plans for MK8.
After that, we'll get a SSB Wii U Direct in October, and a big end-of-year Direct in December or Janauary, with more news on Splatoon, Miyamoto's stuff and Mario Maker.
