Topic: NEW upcoming Wii U game Swipe Knight

I probably had over 50people point out the name and compare it to Shovel Knight. The name Swipe Knight simple came from that the hero is a knight that you control with swipes, but I have decided to change the name since everyone seem to have a problem with it. So from now on its Swipe Knight(working titiel)

Maybe you can throw together a gameplay trailer? That would probably be the most helpful thing to give us an idea about your game.

Ya, I realized that after I read the post a second time. The first time I read the OP was when it first got posted, so I didn't remember specifically everything it had said, until after I posted and read the OP again.

Never the less, no rush or anything. Everyone just likes to see a new Wii U game.

You should totally have that as the game's name. It's funny.

Also I just wanna say, thanks to everybody that have been giving me feedback.

Making games is very lonely and no one in my family has any interest in my work nor gaming, and its pretty much been like that for the last 5 years.

So this week when I been getting so much positive (and some negative) feedback from all you fellow gaming nerds is such a energy boost for me, and I will definitely keep you all updated on the game until its complete.

Have you been playing any games in particular for inspiration?

Yes, Battle Kid is a big inspiration, Zelda, Cookie run (I hate that I just said that, lol), retro games in general, and also some of the things HVGN(Happy videogame nerd) has said about games have been a great inspiration for how the game should progress.

If you other guys also want to help then please spread the indiegogo campaign on facebook, twitter or any other social media, and if you guys also contact sites like this and point out that you would like to see an article about the game then I think that would increase the chances of them actually doing it a lot.

Thank you, and the blood is not just there to be gory, its to deliever a fun and unique death for each and every enemy. As you see, the Acorns heads pops up and you see their brains bounce around in there, the chickens turns into lots of small chicken legs that lands in a KFC bucket, the minotaur loses his head, the monkeys arms get chopped off and they fall to their death:)

I think that creates an extra fun factor in the game when every new enemy get to deliever a fun way to die, kinda like a fatality
