I don't think it matters too much in the New SMB games, you don't go into those games looking for "new" Mario. Save the awesome for the big 3D Marios.

Well as long as the bosses aren't repeated like they are in NSMB2 (really, rhino's for every mid-castle?). It would be nice to have the Koopalings back again for another round as you don't see them all that often any more, but I would like more variety in the boss battles and make them a bit more harder than what they currently are... to be honest, the boss battles in the Mario games are starting to feel a bit TOO easy.

Rhinos for every mid-castle? Why didn't I hear this complaint back in Mario 3...or Mario 1 for that matter. Bowser central. We had enough Koopalings now.

Because back then that was fine... but I wouldn't mind some variety in the boss battles for the mid-castle levels.

BOOM BOOM IS THE FREAKING FORTRESS BOSS.

Oh, and the koopalings are the castle bosses. Just like SMB3.

Hopefully they teach that stupid fatso to fly again like in SMA4. I loved him when he did that.

Yeah, I just found that out earlier. It's funny how I can predict things.

And Boom-Boom always knew how to fly.

Boom-Boom will need to roll/get away to safety after getting hit. Far enough that Mario isn't RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, waiting. In SMB3, all you had to do was stand beside him and wait for the spikes to retract, jump on him and repeat. (Darth Vader voice) All too easy. The Reznor fights were better in later levels of NSMB2 by having TWO wheels full of Reznors. Maybe they'll do something to make Boom-Boom harder here.
