This was kind of a difficult topic for which to search. Where do you think New Super Mario Bros Wii is in difficulty comparison with New Super Mario Bros U / New Super Luigi U? I haven't played either and was interested in playing them. I have Super Mario Maker already and am a little burnt out trying to find levels to enjoy. Super Mario Bros. 3 & Super Mario World are my favorites.
I'd argue it goes Wii, U, then Luigi.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii and U are very close in terms of difficulty, but I do remember U being slightly harder.
Luigi U is much harder, and some of the secret levels can be downright brutal.
