New Super Mario Bros. U DLC is unlike anything you thought about it being, as this DLC will be a massive effort with an entirely new story and levels with Luigi as the sole hero!
This sounds pretty awesome. I can't wait to learn more.
I foresee what you'll do there.

Since they are adding all new levels, and from the video they seemed more difficult, I honestly hope the price is well below 60 bucks. However I think it would be worth it regardless. Another good question is whether the DLC will support multiplayer or do you have to play alone?
This is some pretty impressive downloadable content. I was just expecting a few level packs like in New Super Mario Bros 2, but a whole new game full of levels? That's practically like giving us a new 2D Mario platformer!
I'd be all about saving Daisy!!! NSMBU is on my list of games to get now.
Here is a new petition to get Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengence on the Wii U!!!

I think $10-$15 would be more than fair considering we already spent $60 for this game, it's not like the content is standalone. Unfortunately, I wouldn't put it past them to charge $30 (which, with the game and sales tax it ends up being like $100 for the game and its DC content). A full $50-$60 would be ridiculous, it might as well be sold as a separate game then. Depending on the price, this sort of support could really start drawing people to their new system and, if it becomes a trend, really exciting for fans (imagine them giving us another six Nintendo Land attractions for $10 or an extra post game quest in Pikmin 3 for $15). They can just throw in content that got cut for time reasons or reuse textures and models and make some easy money while we get some more game for free after we've already had the title for awhile.
Another idea is to reward early buyers by giving them a slightly lower price tag on the extra content, what better way to convince players to often buy early on when the price hasn't been cut yet? Or players who register it (encouraging them to buy new instead of used)?
Either way, I hope the price is fair and this becomes a trend, it really helps offset the $60 price tags with the HD console games.

I am guessing it will be sold at around $20 to $30, which I believe to be reasonable given the scope of the DLC pack.
I like the way they want to take DLC! Its what I have been expecting since the concept of DLC was introduced to the industry.
As for the game itself, I wonder if the difficulty will be higher? I just finished the Superstar Road and was proud of myself, but I can only imagine how crazy Luigi's version would be. I am quite excited about this release!!
I wonder if this will be more difficult that the original levels, as it is solely a solo adventure. NSMBU levels are designed with multiplayer in mind, which creates an artificial increase in difficulty as you are having to jump around other players getting in the way, even to the point of competition. Soloing such levels tends to be on the easy side, at least it was for me, so just maybe, the difficulty on these will be increased because they'll be designed with solo in mind.
