Okay, I just had this great idea! A new Metroid game for Wii U, called Metriod R4ZED. This is a sequel to MP3, w/ Online capability, and a solid 15-hour campaign w/ a Halo-like Firefight mode. A motion-blur art style, and this is a sure buy from me! Anyone else?

Give me a Wii-U and 3DS metroid.

The Wii-U game would either be another FPS prime styled game or a all Third person segment like the ones from Other M. Plays pretty much like prime with a few of the boss battles using the dynamic kills from other M. Picks up at the end of corruption. Some mutiplayer aspects.

The 3DS game would be the Fusion sequel using the Other M engine. lots of back tracking in the 3D/2D space in 3d.

Hmm....whichever direction would be best fora Metroid Fusion sequel I don't see why the next 1 couldn't be on console considering the line-up of all Metroid games that follow the same general plot, excluding the Prime series or Other M considering they're really more like side-quest stories; Metroid=NES, Metroid 2=GameBoy, Metroid 3=SNES, Metroid 4 (Fusion it actually does say 4 in its intro, too.)=GameBoy Advance.

I want the fusion sequel on handhelds as going into HD that may be only way we see a 2D.5 metroid. Sakamoto may go crazy again with the story. (get that man a Editor)

But meh dont really want a prime game again. Retro's next project should either be a New Ip or something like starfox or Star tropics.

Super Metroid 2 by Retro. Yes.

Always imgagned this stupidly huge metroid game that's like The Metroid/Super metroid 10 times over. Whole bunch of Backtracking and what not.

Wii U

• Original story
• Third-person view that works well for both aiming and platforming
• Get rid of beam-stacking
• Bring back charge combos
• Get rid of auto-aim (lock-on is fine as long as they use Corruption's free-aim)
• Get rid of SenseMove
• FFS, areas that require actual thought to navigate, and are packed with environmental puzzles and obstacles

3DS
Just give me a new 2D Metroid.

How about a Metroid game where you have ALL of your powers at the beginning, and then you LOSE them gradually as the game progresses?

The game would get harder on its own as you lost certain skills, and you would have to think of new ways to use your available abilities in order to traverse old environments. ...Huh...
