Topic: Super Mario Galaxy 3 Leaked?

When you search Wii U on vgchartz.com a game titled "Super Mario Wii U" comes up dated for 2020. This probably means that if this is a new Mario game, Nintendo just hasn't decided on the date yet. When you click on it, a game with a cover that says Super Mario Galaxy 3 comes up. Anyways, here's the link: http://www.vgchartz.com/game/71410/super-mario-wii-u/

2020???? Thats a long time from now, though... The next big Mario game for Wii U is prolly 2016.

Well Zelda U is also listed for 2020 so I think this means that Nintendo hasn't decided on a date yet.

I really don't think Nintendo share their plans with VGChartz. I don't think we'll see SMG3 either. They'll give the next fully 3D Mario a new name.

EAD Tokyo has stated they are working on a new Mario game. Lots of people "assumed" that this would be a new Galaxy game, but there's no proof at this point AFAIK.

There are much more proofs that Nintendo intend to release Zelda U in 2015 than that the new Mario game is a Galaxy game, IMO.

Answer to your question is no just look at what you're using for evidence and the fact it isn't even titled galaxy.

I would advise you to never listen to anything VGchartz has to say OP. It's a very unreliable website.

I can assure you they know just as much as anyone on this forum knows about the next Super Mario game.

Fake covers like this appear all the time, when certain sources have no clue how the future game would look like. Besides, the images on that cover have taken directly from SMG 2...

Yeah, that definitely looks fake. Some of the artwork is ripped straight from SMG2.

There was a new 3D Mario announced, but it's probably 3DS!

It's just a placeholder type thing. Everyone knows they're working on another Mario game, it's no secret, they're always working on one. But my guess is that their "Mario team" is split between that and the Captain Toad game right now. And that's after pushing out 3D World only last year. So if I was to predict a time for the next big 3D Mario game? Late next year at the earliest, more likely 2016.

If they released Galaxy 3 and it included HD versions of Galaxy 1&2, I'd buy a Wii U instantly. Probably be easy enough for them to do as well. The first 2 looked so good that you could just have them render in 1080p with no alterations.
