i believe we are about to experience a new zelda art form, based on the patterns of the past. for OoT, we had a tech demo released, and the character link looked like what we've seen in the NES/SNES manuals, but he, in the final product, looked new. again, on Gamecube. we seen link battling Ganon as a human figure, but in the final product, we get a cartoon art style. once again, we have yet another Tech demo trailer released from nintendo for the zelda game on wii U.
it's also worth noting that ALL these trailers have been released in the early life of a brand new console(or before the console was released).
any more information supporting this theory? ideas of the possible new art style? has NLife already covered this? am i a slowpoke? you guys know the drill.

I would like to see them go back to the anime style seen in the N64 games.
OoT3D looked great with it's improvements, and I'd love to see what kind of completely new game would look like in that style (especially with the Wii U's power).

Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
If you notice, excluding Majora;s Mask and starting with OoT, they've gone realistic, cartoony, realistic, cartoony, and I think we're due for another realistic looking game. It WOULD be the best way to show off the system's hardware... I don't think it'll resemble Twilight Princess though, and skew off into a direction that will satisfy fans of OoT and Twilight Princess, but still be something all it's own. If they do use the cartoony art style in the future, it'll be for top-down retro games like Four Swords or the rumored sequel/remake of A Link to the Past.
I find realistic art styles to be bland, I've also heard that they seemed to like the Skyward Sword art style and where going to keep it in future games, of course, the source really wasn't all that reliable so I wouldn't count on it.
Also, what CGI trailer was this? The tech demo doesn't count.
@AlphaIchimoru: If that was aimed at my post (which I'm unsure of), that isn't a pre-rendered CGI trailer; it was from the interactive Wii U tech demo from E3 2011 to display the capabilities of the Wii U from then.
@GameLord08: Actually, it was named at 0LD_SK0OL_PUNK's first comment on this page. Either way, I think Nintendo said that they probably wouldn't use the Tech Demo art style.
@Alphalchimoru: Yeah. I'd like to see Zelda in manga style but I'm happy with whatever they decide to do. I really like Himekawa's artwork in Ocarina of Time manga (both young and adult Link). Other Zelda manga books are also awesome and have nice art but I prefer OoT one over Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Minish Cap, etc. styles. Those styles are more cartoonish in games so the same style is continued in manga. But yeah, if I could decide I'd make OoT mangastyle like game just to see how it works out.
It's its, not it's.

well, that was my fault. i couldn't think of the words "tech demo" at the time, so i just put CGI there in it's place. my main point was that ALL the trailers were made to show off the new system's capabilities. anyways, i'm fixing my comment as we speak :3
