Mines holding up well. I have a silicon case on it and a screen protector. I store it in my game accessory cabinet. I still need to buy the extended battery, but I haven't seen it in stores though.

I've had mine since launch in Nov 2012, it's still works like great with few overall signs of wear and tear. I will give Nintendo some credit, it is a well built piece of kit.

My analog stick is turning brown from all those hours in COD and monster hunter 3U....That's why I quit being a cheapskate and bought a Wii U Pro controller a few months back. Other than the brownish analog stick my pad is completely fine

Bought my Wii U at launch, the GamePad has been dropped about 5 times, yet it still looks and functions perfectly. I think that it's the best controller that I've owned.

I got a mystery scratch over the right stick and a few scratches (okay, a LOT of scratches) on the screen, but I can still see the images on it very well.

The only thing that upsets me about the GamePad (had it since launch) is the battery life. Not too upset since it's comparable to the 3DS's, but for long play sessions with ZombiU, Lego City, Batman Arkham City, NintendoLand, and Wind Waker lead to a tethered feeling when it's plugged in.

I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
