Topic: Mysterious new Pokemon game?

That looks so much like the Gamecube pokemon games. I hope it plays like it also. Although, I am fine with a new Stadium-like game.

For now I'll stick to thinking it's just a rumor: a Pokémon Stadium for Wii U right now would be too good to be true.

So now we finally got footage of the video that these images came from. And now I'm certain its a new Wii U game! The video shows all the Pokemon games throughout the history of Nintendo consoles, starting with GameBoy and ending with 3DS. However soon after the end, the mystery image I posted shows up for brief moment.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread. This has to be one of the unannounced games Iwata was referring to that would be coming out in 2014

Its totally the next big Battle Arena game that hopefully has some story interactions. Its a deliberate image at the end of the Retrospective video. Pokemon Battle revolution were announced pretty close to Diamond and Pearl. My guess is its going to be announced next month at Nintendo's fall event.

Right now its dumb to show it off since a HD pokemon will blow the lid off of X and Y's 3D pokemans look so good.

Those who don't want 3rd Generation remakes really don't get it. A remake allows you to re-experience the world with today's technology. Who wouldn't want to see the beautiful region of Hoenn in 3D? That epic battle agains Kyogre and Groudon...

Gamefreak has decided to use the Wii U Gamepad to do what they've always wanted-- combining Pokemon battles with Freecell Solitaire. As you move cards into their respective suit piles on the GamePad, your Pokemon does better in its battle on the big screen.

Mystery solved.

than again I wouldn't be suprised if gen III was the first time a few people here played pokemon to be honest.

Wowowowowow... I've been here since the Red Version when it revolutioned lower-school. I was the exact targeted demographic of the very first Pokémon games and I STILL love this franchise. 3rd gen NOT worst gen: don't tryna factualize that.

Ooooo... I hope it's a new Stadium type game.. that does not depend entirely on the new 3DS games... I have been wanting one for so long.. bring back stadium.. (Or heck make a Stadium where you can go to various places and collect the Mon your using..

I was joking. It's probably my least favorite of the gen's feature wise tho. Emerald a pretty great game all things considered. I do feel that while Emerald changed pokemon mechanics as we know it was a definate step back from the scope of GSC.
