I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, or if it's just me, but my Wii U has been getting slower and slower, almost daily it seems.
By that I mean it takes longer and longer to load things. Just today, when I was booting up Mario Kart 8, it was stuck on the loading screen (The one with just the Mario Kart 8 logo) for about 5 minutes it seemed. Right now I am stuck on one page in Miiverse and it takes a few minutes for me to do anything or go anywhere.
Is this an issue with older Wii U's? I thought Nintendo had a reputation for their hardware lasting a long time.
Thanks in advance.
I have a physical copy of Mario Kart 8. My Wii U is placed a fair amount of distance from my router, but I don't think that's the problem since I didn't have any sort of hiccups just a few weeks ago. I'll try contacting Nintendo.
Same with others. Mine is getting faster and faster with each update. I would suggest you contacting Nintendo to see what's up. Make sure you back up your saves.

Mine's had the same issue since the last update which makes me wonder if somehow the update partially bricked an unusually high number of legit non-hacked Wii U's.
