Ok so when I turned it on, it gave me a notification that new software was downloaded while it was off and it had Wii Sports Club on the menu and it didn't have "DEMO" below it and it needed an update. I never downloaded any of the Wii Sports titles and I don't even have the disc. I just now have Wii Sports Club on my Wii U from nowhere. Granted it is a good thing, but I have no idea how it happened. I do have the original Wii Sports disc, but I never put it into the U. Help, please?

it's just the 24 hour trial, I guess.
after that you'll have to pay to keep playing, I guess they made it like this to not have a separate demo.
either that or we both got lucky(also happened to me but my motion plus is bad so I didn't even launch the game XD )

I'm fine with the ASDs, this is a good thing, I just want to know WHY. It appears as if I had bought the whole thing on the eShop.

Wii Sports Club does not cost anything to download, but it DOES cost money to actually play. You can either buy the 5 sports individually for $10 each, or you can pay something like $2 for a 24-hour pass to all 5 games. The first time you launch the game, whether because you downloaded it yourself or it came automatically, you get a free 24-hour pass to try the games out.

Since downloading it is free, it's treated like a demo and sent out automatically to Wii U's that have never downloaded it.

It's just an automatic download.

My console did the same. One time when I booted it up I had both Wii Sports Club and some karaoke game downloaded on my system. I deleted them and turned the feature off.

Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again
