~I used to watch Comic Drake(I hate this channel too but that's because I feel he very closed minded when it comes to comics and he has such a small knowledge of comics that i dont know why he has a channel for comics)
I watch other channels too(Like the fine bros. & CrashCourse) but these are my favorite and most relevant to this website.
I don't really like GameXplain. Most of his videos are long, drawn out rants about nothing in particular. The only thing good about that channel is the fact that they tend to be very, very early getting stuff. Lots of gameplay footage of games that aren't quite out yet. Though even then while that's cool for Mario Kart or Smash, lots of spoilers. Insane amounts of spoilers.
For that reason I tend to avoid the channel as much as I can......
There're 2 of them I believe. And yeah, their approach is really about focusing on quantity. They're almost like a radio station.
The only one that doesn't annoy the hell out of me is Total Biscuit. Even then I normally just listen not watch.
Is that the guy who's always playing fun games that have next to nothing to do with what he's talking about? Because I always mute his videos and just watch the game. Don't want his stupid rants distracting me from these killer jumps he's making in Castlevania!
Nvm, that was ReviewTechUSA. I have no idea who TotalBusciit is, then. In fact...I don't know who any of these Youtubers are...I don't really watch any original content on Youtube anymore, now that I think about it. I just stick to guys I know are good, then I go on their own official sites...
I usually watch Game Grumps (although they can be a little too annoying at times) and Two Best Friends Play a lot. Another favorite is GameXplain.
Other channels I enjoy having on my watch list are Nintendaan, Brutal Moose, PBG, etc.
Special mention to Eric Van Wilderman, because he plays horror games... Although lately he's been more into creepy sexy-horror JRPGs, which I don't really enjoy.
There are only three Youtube channels I consistently watch:
Totalbiscuit - His reviews are usually solid and I tend to agree with him. I also like his coverage of various issues.
Muselk - I didn't think I'd find a TF2 Youtuber I really enjoyed, but then I found this guy. His videos are never to serious and are just generally fun to watch.
Satchbag's Goods - This guy is by far my favorite Youtuber, the first that I even subscribed to. Every video takes forever to come out, but the quality of every video is outstanding. He analyzes games in extreme depth most of the time and even with a strong opinion, still never forces his opinion on his audience.
Nerd3 (Cubed) - A fun channel for Steam games in general. I go to this guy just to see what kind of fun I might have with a game.
Extra Credits - By no means the word of God, but I've always considered them a good source of talking points when it comes to games. Fun presentation, good analysis, and simple delivery.
