This conversation took place back in January, after I contacted customer support to give them feedback on the game every gamer wants on the Wii U. I really don't know the legal aspects of broadcasting the employee's name, so I've censored it. I recently contacted a number of high-profile publishers with a similar plea: to put their major franchises on Nintendo's newest console. I contacted Bethesda, Valve, Capcom in regards to Resident Evil 6, Irrational Games, and Rockstar. Currently, a representative from Rockstar is the only one who has given me any form of feedback, and it is very promising. He said, and I quote, " we agree that this would be a great idea". It offers zero in the way of confirmation, but it shows that Rockstar takes feedback seriously, and at the least, it is a tantalizing tidbit of potential. It's two months later, so I've given up hope on the other companies responding, but the fact that Rockstar was so quick, level, and enthusiastic in their response gives me extreme hope. I encourage others to send feedback to Rockstar on this issue.

I would just like to say, nothing would please me more than to see the newest incarnation of Grand Theft Auto to be released on the upcoming Nintendo Wii U console. It will undoubtedly be yet another highly acclaimed masterpiece, and a release on this console will definitely be a preorder-worthy purchase for me. It would be a dream come true to see this game in all of its HD glory with a slightly modified control scheme for the Wii U's unique and innovative controller... please make this happen, Rockstar. You have my money. Nintendo's Wii U, and by association, Nintendo gamers, deserve to finally fully experience Rockstar's champion series, Grand Theft Auto. Put Grand Theft Auto V on Wii U. I beg of U.

I've never played GTA III, only San Andreas and IV. But along with Civilization V they are by far my favorite games that weren't released on a Nintendo system. (I also like Portal, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and BioShock. I think they're all excellent. But I feel GTA is a step up from excellent: perfect. Just my opinion, of course )

The responses show a glimmer of hope. It would be amazing to play it on Wii U because I have not yet played any of the previous titles and they always seemed intriguing. Good work man!

Mje, GTA has sucked this gen IMO. Even Red Dead Redemtion was bad to me, it's like Rockstar managed to suck out the fun in their open world titles this gen. I can't say I care if it'll come to the WiiU or not. But the more games the merrier, as always of course.
Looking forward to: ZeldaU & Hyrule Warriors

But, most PR responses, if you get one consist of "nothing has been announced at this time" or the slightly better "we can neither confirm or deny the existence of that title at this time. Please check out our website for nonexistent information".

I dont know I might check it out truthfully the only GTA game I liked was Vice City. Still it would be nice to see more mature titles like GTA on a Nintendo system to shut up all those fanboys of Sony and Microsoft when they say that the Wii U cant handle a mature title like GTA. Plus for Nintendo it opens up a whole new group of customers.

I wonder if people on the internet are ever going to realize that emailing the companies is always useless when asking things like this.
lol Why would they tell you ?
Just for you.

I wasn't asking them anything. I was just providing feedback about a product I want to buy. Their response was much more than I expected, and it's much more than most companies were willing to do. This response isn't useless, and it shows that harassing companies with positive reinforcement isn't either. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has or will do this, and each person who does encourages a company in the direction of a crossplatform release a little more. Granted, by this point, if Wii U GTA V is coming, it's already started production.

no offense, but the responses are just PR fluff. if you'd like to continue discussing the possibility of GTA V on Wii U, please feel free to use this existing thread. Thank you! :3
