Topic: my E3 predictions

Going back to my original predictions, I think the system update will allow the console to run without the gamepad on, but that it will still be bundled.

I don't agree that the problem is the hardware, the changes they will make will be software/user experience with the existing product, which takes time but doesn't alter their production and original plan.

my prediction is that they will show some short trailer and say "we will show this and much more in the Nintendo Direct that will start in one hour, it will be broadcasted direct to you, from here on the E3 so don't lose it!!"

I just hope they have an actual show this year. Nintendo Lost the mibdshare last E3 precisly because they didn't realize that only people in this Nintendo bubble really pays attention to Nintendo Directs. The gaming press sort of talked about it, but Expecting the mainstream press to watch a 30 minute YouTube video was foolish.

This year they need to GI heavy with the spectale and put sony And Microafr in notice.

Zelda Wii U....
the rest is kind of hazy right now. I think I'll have a better idea after the next Nintendo Direct (whenever that is).

My expectation: people getting hyped, because they built up enormous expectations in their head, followed by an epic meltdown due to the presentation not meeting people's enormous expectations.

Doesn't the Nintendo direct only play to those whom already gave a Nintendo device able to play the direct? Don't get me wrong but wouldn't it be better at reaching a wider crown to broadcast a conference at E3 where there is more then just Nintendo fans?

Nintendo Directs stream to anyone with an internet connection on any device

Ah ok, but still E3 will reach a broader audience and then a Nintendo Direct will.

The problem is not in the hardware as stated. The hardware is perfectly fine as it is. If it was stated that it was in the hardware because of it being inferior to PS4 or Xbone, then that statement is only remotely true. The true part us only that the hardware between them is different. Yet Nintendo Wii U is still a perfect example of why graphics don't win. If you like rehash versions of the same thing, this being the consoles, then the Wii U isn't for you. Nintendo hasn't kept anything the same with their systems and always brings something new. Ever since the NES, the SNES brang the introduction of shoulder buttons and Nintendo has been introducing different things ever since. This way of building systems is always gonna be hit or miss. The original Wii was extraordinary and the Wii U still is but not enough time was spent with introducing it to the general public.

Its got to be the experience brought to you by the Wii U that needs to be reworked. Online interaction, marketing, games... That's what's needed to save this system and I predict that Nintendo will hopefully realize this and do something about it at E3. This is what I think they will talk about at their conference at E3.

@SofaKing I actually like Nintendo at E3 for only a few vein reasons, first off I love the showman ship they do, the behind the scenes things at last years E3 looked interesting, but we didn't get a chance to see it. However, I do love the simple humor in Nintendo Directs, gets me smiling.

Another thing is because of the reactions, I love hearing the reaction of new Zeldas and Smashes. The fan reaction compilation to Mega Man is pretty freaking hilarious to me. I love this kind of stuff and I think it makes the company look more fun.

What I realistically expect....
Zelda U trailer
Metroid U trailer
Miyamoto's new IP
Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
2 more bonus Wii U games
Virtual Console massive update
More 3DS coverage

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

Good list, but I'd also add

Yarn Yoshi
Hyrule Warriors
X

I'm also hoping to get some info on the new Mario Golf.

I honestly don't think we should say that Metroid U is even that likely. >.> I really just don't see them saying anything about a new Metroid for a while. I mean, that game benefits from heavy detail and a long development period. I feel like it's too early to expect a new one, especially when even Nintendo seems to be having trouble getting the most out of their own console.

@UGXwolf I disagree. Metroid U is very likely at E3. Its prolly gonna be teased the same way like Kingdom Hearts 3 originally was announced. A brief trailer and gameplay and the words: "Now in Development" when the Metroid U trailer ends.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!
