Yeah, this is a mistake, but it does make you wonder. A Kid Icarus game on the Wii U would look absolutely beautiful. So what if Sakurai said he wouldn't make a sequel, he said the same thing after Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Until it comes into being, we'll just to imagine what an HD Kid Icarus would look like by watching the 3D anime and KIU commercial.
Yeah, I'd love an HD Kid Icarus, port or not. I believe that Sakurai could make another game, and if it takes 10 years or 10 months, I won't care.
Also, I heard a lot of people want Magnus's Story, so maybe Sakurai could make a side story of Kid Icarus.
Even if anyone here doesn't believe this, we can all hope.

The poor guy must be exhausted. He started work on the next Smash Bros. almost right after finishing Uprising.
On another note, that TV trailer for Uprising took my breath away. It practically showed what Pit's world would look like in glorious HD. For those of you who have not seen it, here it is.

If you listen to the dialogue during the boss fight with Dark Lord Gaol, Palutena talks about how Magnus and Gaol were originally fellow mercenaries until Gaol was corrupted by the Underworld Army and Magnus had a child who was killed in the war. That's why he was so bitter with Palutena for "sleeping on the job" while his world was on the verge of collapse. It is kinda odd how Magnus' backstory was never revealed otherwise; probably because Sakurai was more concerned about gameplay rather than story.
Yeah, that's why they should make Magnus's story or something like that.
Could you change the title to something that isn't totally ambiguous? I had no idea this thread was about Kid Icarus. And now my topic has been locked down just because it's about the same game...
