So somebody convince me that MHU gets better. I have played about an 1.5 hours and I am through the part where I first learn to swim and hunt underwater. The game has yet to do anything for me. In fact it feels like work. Does it get better? How long before it lives up to the love many of you have been showing?
Monster Hunter is the kind of game that rewards patience. I'd say that the first 7-8 hours of the game is nothing but fairly monotonous tutorials. Once you do reach the good stuff (aka the actual monster hunting) the game becomes (in my opinion) one of the most rewarding experiences of any video game.
