In the interest of tidying up a bit, I've removed everyone's NNID and replaced it with a link to their profile, allowing people to garner the necessary information themselves.
I've also added some admittedly snazzy graphics to make it a bit more pleasing to your collective eyeballs.
Glad to see you're actually treating this thread like a hub for MH. Stoked to get this game now! Also, I'm sure you'll catch it but all those links are 404's. Maybe put everyone's NNID in brackets beside their NL name?
Looking good so far. Anyways, my HR is 58. Looking forward to the ultimate party.
A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

I play Monster Hunter and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 pretty frequently when I'm not working.
Feel free to message me in MH and I will hunt with you.
Also my brother plays Monster Hunter whenever I am not playing. His NNID is RisingTenkai.
Ok chaps, serious talk time. As you can see, at the moment all of you are listed under 'Interested' instead of 'confirmed'. This will change later on in the day where I'll be listing people by their HR.
Naturally in order to do this I'll need your HR, without it I'll have to stick you in the 'unranked' section and you won't be able to take part in any hunts.
I'm also thinking of introducing a system for users with a lower HR. They can (by request) insist that all hunters higher than their rank wear armour and use weapons more appropriate for their rank, in order to prevent the hunting of any important monsters from being too easy and making their efforts seem menial by comparison.
What does everyone think? Does that sound fair? It's not compulsory, but lower rank users may prefer it to simply storming through all the harder missions holding the hands of people with G rank equipment.
I'm not in for hunting with crappy armour and stuff. I'll help anyone on occasion, but if you'd like to join similar ranks, just make sure everybody involved knows.
I can appreciate that, and frankly I don't really mind playing with people who are G Rank as the difference between G Rank and High Rank is much smaller than G Rank and Low Rank.
In regards to hunting, what times in UTC are people normally available? I'm aware time zones can be a bit of a pain, so using UTC will give us a constant idea of when one another is free. Also for the purposes of this thread.
As for me, you can expect me to be available usually between about 1800 UTC and 2300 UTC, social life permitting.

I don't mind changing to lower gear if I play with lower ranked people.
During the rest of summer, I'll be available nearly every day, but once university starts back up, I'll only be around on weekends.
Great stuff from everyone so far, but now the most important part of it all.
Start adding people as friends!
I can't do everything for you, you'll be better hunters if you know your fellows' ferociousness and follies. I've already added a handful of the more active of you chaps, and at the time of writing I've not had a single acceptance! Come on people! Let's get hunting!

Makes sense, on a "by request" basis.
Depends on what people want: are low HR hunters experienced with MH from other games and just trying to power through early HR levels, looking to quickly farm some materials, or trying to learn some hunting skills and develop their game? No wrong answer here.
I don't think there is anything wrong with expecting people to use lower level weapons on lower rank hunts when people are still learning. If new players don't struggle a little bit and learn how to hunt effectively, they'll never be able to fully enjoy the game or be really useful in tough fights later on. As long as everyone is having fun, anything goes right?
I'm gonna add everyone, then come back to this thread when I get the game. As for my availability, anywhere from 14:00UTC to 24:00UTC, depending on life.

I added my NNID to my signature. I will add everybody when I can. I HR is 5. I would like to get to G Rank soon. I use Long Sword, Gun Lance, some Hammer, and a little Dual Swords.
