However, I don't think this will be too much of an issue in the final game, as the entire HUD can be moved to the GamePad screen. Are you using the HDMI cable that is provided with the console? and what is the display setting of your Wii U in the system settings? i am not using hdm, my tv does not have an hdmi port but it does have a dvi port and i do have a dvi to hdmi cable but it does not carry sound so i dont use it also for the display setting if you mean aspect ratio then i have it on 16:9
