Topic: Monster Hunter 3 U multiplayer confusion...

So, I know this is a dumb question, but how do I get online multiplayer Monster Hunter questing to work. I realize I'm the only one who can't seem to figure this out, but it is the most confusing setup system I've ever seen.

I thought I finally figured it out yesterday with my friend, but after we both joined a lobby, talked to the quest receptionist, picked the first quest and embarked, we played the same quest completely separately. We could chat, but we weren't together, fighting the same monsters. Can anybody please explain how to team up online?

Once you're both in the lobby one of you have to accept the quest and the other has to accept from the quest board then once the person who did not originally start the quest has to move to the front and Que up, then when the host is ready you will both leave.

I hope that makes sense <.<

Mainly one person accepts the quest, the other takes it from the quest board.

You both started different quests.

Someone needs to start one from a receptionist, and the other one needs to join that one from the board next to the receptionists.

Yeah I don’t know either.

Eh! My gameplay videos

Ah. Thanks, guys. Seriously, though... there are MUCH simpler ways they could have designed that process.

I remember when I first started out in MH3U, IIRC I found that to be a little more confusing than it should be as well. Once you know what to do its key lime pie, but theres a lot of little things like that that newcomers have to learn.
