There's a very good number of games that should be remade in HD for Wii U.
Where are the DS VC games?
Where are the Gamecube VC games?
Where are the N64 VC games?

I think he's referring more to the ground-breaking aspect.

I really just more original games like Splatoon and Wonderful 101. I LOVE my Zelda, Xenoblade, etc., but you always run the risk of getting stale if you're always doing the same thing.

I'd love to see a Kid Icarus for Wii U, but that probably won't happen. F-Zero for sure though.

No more Mario's for a while! The franchise has been milked totally dry! I would love to see a new Metroid, Starfox, F-Zero, etc. And some free-roaming 3D stuff, because, you know, almost everything Nintendo does nowadays are sidescrollers.

Good thing Nintendo has already gone through all the different Mario games on the 3DS, and is making their way through them on Wii U. Expect a Paper Mario and a Mario sports game (Strikers, Sluggers) on Wii U, and then a Galaxy 3 or Galaxy successor.

While I'm not opposed to the above, I do think Nintendo would do well to design some new IPs. Splatoon was my favorite part of E3, and tells me that Nintendo is still very capable of producing, new, interesting, innovative stuff. I'd love to see what they could do in the realm of story and character intensive, The Longest Journey-style narrative epics. Or perhaps an RPG franchise of some variety.

I'm assuming by "most" you mean "Kirby Air Ride 2" and by "not all" you mean everything else. Right?

A new Eternal Darkness or picking up Shadows of the Eternal like they did with Bayonetta 2 and Devil's third.

Bring back a suite of sports games with 1080 snowboarding, Wave Race, and F-zero.

A 3D Kirby from Hal labs.
