Sorry - didn't realise there was another thread for this... in the 'News' section. But anyway, I can't imagine PEGI spend their time rating fabricated games. Surely it's coming. I'll check again in the morning (and every 15 minutes through the night).
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Anybody else notice on that same PEGI image that they label minecraft as a puzzle game?
I'm questioning the legitmacy of this.
It is legitimate as you can find it on the official PEGI site, the Xbox One and Vita release were labelled as Puzzle games too, 360 as strategy, PS3 as adventure, etc. Don't read too much into the genre labels.
Puzzle just seems like a weird genre to label minecraft... if anything it seems more like an RPG sandbox game. The only puzzles is figuring out how to craft everything, redstone, and usercreated dungeons.

Seems like Nintendo leaks are becoming more and more common, and it's making presentations like E3 and Nintendo Directs less and less fun. The whole time I was watching today, I was thinking "alright, five minutes left, let's get on with the Minecraft, then." Having a sort of unintentional red herring made the Direct a little more fun.
Compare with other 3rd party Wii U titles. "Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations" got registered at 2015-10-23 and was released in the EU at 2015-11-06. Expect a release within 3 weeks. The strange thing is that there's no promotion of the game's existence.
Every console versions has already killed what's fun about Minecraft: mods.
Let it sink in that a game is amazing only because you can easily hack and mod it.

Granted, I had amazingly fun times with friends on the xbox version, but the headset was a major asset which the wii u lacks.. not much team work or yelling at griefers if you have no means of communication.

Mod support in Minecraft is no different to how plug-ins works in traditional applications, or how moddable games in general work, or how Facebook apps work. The developers gives you a programming API where the community can expand the possibilities of the core application.
Community-driven games are amazing because of the content the community brings. Minecraft is a prime example of that.

So, the 50 million who bought it but not on PC didn't enjoy it much...?
According to Wikipedia (I know), it's the third highest selling game of all time. I've played the two above it (Tetris? Seriously? Never been able to like that) but I've not played Minecraft. So I'm looking forward to it.
That's a useful nugget regarding the delay between PEGI's Adventure Time rating and the actual release. Where were you 24hrs ago when I needed that to temper my hype?
