Don't have a wii but not being abe to register a Nintendo ID from this site is annoying. I'm guessing the 3DS version is delayed since they're trying to intergrate it into the system and not just be an app.

Cool. I just checked it out on my PC, but I didn't sign in. It wouldn't let me see it on the Wii U, though. Nintendo probably blocked it so that you wouldn't be running it twice which could cause some issues.

You can access it on multiple devices at the same time. You don't have to logout in one device to login on another. No android nor iPhone app available yet.

I understand. I can still go to the Miiverse app on the Wii U, but I can't go to Miiverse through the internet browser on Wii U.
My guess is that our accounts will eventually be able to store more data like photos or videos without having to post them publicly to the Miiverse community, or be able to post to other websites straight from the Wii U.

I meant without a PC. You have to post to Miiverse on Wii U, then go on your Nintendo account on a PC to do what @MrWalkieTalkie did.
He wouldn't have been able to post those pictures on this forum without Miiverse being on PC.
I have a Wii U, I'm typing on it right now like usual, and my NNID is in my sig.
EDIT: Trust me, we probably would have seen Miiverse posts outside of Miiverse for a while now if you could just post DIRECTLY from the Wii U, which is what I was saying.
I love being able to type on my computer keyboard on Miiverse now. It sucks that we could hook up a keyboard to the Wii to properly type messages to people, but we can't hook up a keyboard to the Wii U to use for Miiverse on there though. I don't want to hunt and peck with a stylus on the GamePad when I could be using a keyboard instead, and writing by hand is even worse — can barely read half the things people write on there.
^no worries, I somehow doubt that many people with a Vita are going to use Miiverse.
