Bundle all the 2D ones in a disc boxset. Not that much work, Release it while we wait for the new one. They already did Prime bundle, so they shouldn't bundle them again.

2D Metroid is like half the exploration of 3D Metroid, and another sidescroller on Nintendo hardware. 3D Metroid is what is needed and I don't see why 2D Metroid is better at all.

I'd love to see HD remakes of Zero Mission and Fusion. And definitely Metroid II - I spent many hours spiderballing the hell out of that game. Actually that reminds me, there is a guy slowly putting together a Metroid II remake. The latest videos for it look nice and there is a downloadable demo (http://metroid2remake.blogspot.com.au/).

This thread reminded me, I should play through the Prime trilogy before the 4th game is released.

I'd buy a Metroid 1-4 collection on either 3DS or Wii U, with Metroid 2 and Super Metroid getting the same makeover as Zero Mission for consistent aesthetic and gameplay.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

I wouldn't mind an Anniversary release in due time. All-Stars sounds lame, though - how about Legacy or Logbook?

Also, they still need to clean the mess left behind by the Other M debate before they can do anything else - a proper 2D or 3D Metroid is definitely necessary, just not 2.5D, that's exactly what it doesn't need.

No. No metroid all stars it would take way too many resources for a bunch of rehashes when they could make a new one for less than half of those resources.

I'm pretty sure you have no idea what you're talking about.

Don't worry, though, I forgive you.

To remake all of the games in the same fashion of smb all stars would be remaking 4 metroid games. That's a LOT of updating. Unless you're thinking of kirby's 20th anniversary or zelda collectors edition, in which case you're right. If you're referring to smb all stars, you are just a silly person and wwhd laughs at you.

Logbook is actually very suitable, I like it.
