Why are you surprised that MGSV isn't on the Wii U? No Nintendo system ever has gotten one of the new Metal Gear Solid games at launch. We got Metal Gear Solid 1 on the gamecube 6 years after its initial playstation release and then Metal Gear Solid 3 on 3DS 8 years after its ps2 release. So, if anything, maybe we'll get it on a Nintendo system in 10 years?
I don't think Kojima has personally had anything to do with any of the Metal Gear games on any of the Nintendo systems. Since Konami has the rights to Metal Gear, they just hired other developers to port the games to Nintendo systems. Kojima says that he got famous along with playstation so that's where he stays.
Snake could be in the new Smash Bros, given he did get a game on the 3DS and he does have an upcoming game to advertise on competitors' consoles (just like when Brawl came out). But I would not want Snake to return in Smash unless the Wii U got a MGS game or if either 3DS or Wii U got an original MGS game.
