I don't think the Wii U is for you if you're planning to mainly buy 3rd party games.
Maybe the Wii U isn't for you if you don't think it SHOULD, or CAN get 8th gen multiplats. That's honestly not why I even bought it, never the less.
My point is that Wii U not getting 3rd party support is way off the mark in almost everyway, especially if your such a soul that made a far out prediction 1-2 years ago.
First off my post wasn't directed at you second where in my post did I even say that the Wii U can't run 8 gen multiplats I was referring to the fact support has been dwindling with 2014 looking more sparse then 2013.

It doesn't matter who your post was directed at. That's like saying that cussing in front of a baby is ok, because you weren't cussing AT the baby. Your post applies to more than just the OP,
There's plenty of 3rd party games on Wii U. The difference is whether they're 7th or 8th gen games.
@SCAR392 Lets look at the title of this thread shall we "May get a Wii U again hows the 3rd party line up looking next year?", the person is asking what 3rd party WII U games will be released in 2014 apart from Watch Dogs there aren't many other 3rd party games that have been confirmed so while my comment was perfectly relevant yours is not so much.

By 'plenty' you're referring to the few past gen ports? So when recommending a system for multiplats, you'll recommend the Wii U over other consoles with a brighter multiplat future because of past gen ports?
Also I liked the part where you compared yourself to a baby. lol
@Jazzer94
I understand that there is no indication that Wii U will get 3rd party games, but there's also no indication that there won't be, either. That's why none of us should be drawing conclusions.
@AlexSays
Well Wii U has more 3rd party games than Xbox One or PS4. That's why I'm saying that the only difference is 7th and 8th gen.
Also, that was an analogy. You can think what you want, about it.
Were you also telling people to buy the Xbox 360 for first party titles in 2005, because Microsoft had the most thus far?
I didn't really know much about Xbox 360 when it came out, besides that GUN, Kameo, and CoD2 were on it. I've always liked Xbox systems. I just never followed along with how or what the console was doing. I was actually more excited about PS3, but I ended up liking Xbox 360 more.

Jaz recommended the TC goes elsewhere for third party games. If you're going to refute that, the quantity of third party games on other systems is absolutely relevant.
And of course you didn't know much about the 360. Because if you used this same reasoning, you would be recommending a Microsoft console over a Nintendo console for first party titles, which would understandably be hard for you.
@AlexSays
Ya, I know it's relevant. My point was there there's no conclusion to be drawn. I was able to understand that Wii wouldn't get games that Xbox 360 and PS3 got. The case is different this time around.
Ironically, Microsoft's 1st party games is why I prefered it over PS3 last gen. I had all the consoles, bro.

@SCAR392 So a person who mainly wants 3rd party games should buy the console that is most likely going to have the smllest amount I'm not really understanding where you are coming from.
We know you had all the consoles, I remember the story of your daddy buying you a PS3.
Its still the same situation as last gen (except the Wii actually sold well), whether you like to believe it or not. The Wii U is receiving less third party support than the other consoles. You can deny or rationalize this all you want, that doesn't make it true.
I'm not expecting to make any progress with this, so feel free to recommend the Wii U for third party games all you want. The people that listen to you, I'd probably rather not encounter on PSN anyways. lol

That "most likely" part is where you lost me, because no one knows the likeliness. The only people that know whether Wii U will get big upcoming 3rd party games is Nintendo and 3rd parties. Alot of the devs that have spoken out about how they feel about Wii U, ultimately don't even decide what consoles they support.
What I'm saying is that people are drawing conclusions about Wii U based on things that don't effect the bottom line.

I'm not saying that we should be recommending Wii U for 3rd parties. I'm saying that even though Xbox One and PS4 have 100% confirmed titles from some 3rd parties, that doesn't directly give any insight on how things will be for Wii U.

So your posts really have nothing to do with the threads topic then.
@Jazzer94
The thread doesn't make much sense, anyway. The OP is asking what 3rd party games the Wii U will get, when he already has a PS4. The only reason why he would be asking what there will be for Wii U, is if the Wii U still offers him something besides exclusives that the PS4 doesn't have.
@AlexSays
It's not really hoping as much as just waiting and seeing what hapoens. As far as I'm aware, my future won't be determined by what 3rd party games any of these systems will get.

Like what, exactly? If last gen is anything to go by, 3rd parties would be potentially making alot more money by having a port of their games on Wii U. I ended up getting other consoles halfway through the generation, so based on my experience, they would be seilling to a bigger audience 4 years faster.
That's just my take. Kids still end up buying rated M games, anyway.
