I read online that you had to have a romance with her. I read the wiki, and it said you have to meet her at all the appropriate times, which I did, but she still died. Then I read another wiki where you have to complete the romance part of their interactions, so I'm more willing to believe that one. Whoever wrote the other wiki probably did the romance and didn't realize it mattered for the character to live. That's my reasoning, at least.

Ah so basically you need Mass Effect 2, would explain why I can't get that Krogan female to survive cause they keep saying I destroyed something in the previous game. Thanks

You had a choice in the comic book whether or not to destroy the research.
You heartless fiend.

I challenge you sir to prove you that bold statement:

And @Gamecubed thanks I give it a try see if it works

ME3 was pretty great, it's just everyone who cannot think for themselves got on the internet hate bandwagon and decided to hate the game before playing it.

I'm pretty sure most people decided to hate it after playing it. The ending is just awful. For a series that had so many great set pieces of story telling, including in ME3 (Mordin's death and Tali's death, whilst being optional are incredibly powerful and well made scenes). It felt like that last 30 minutes of the game was written by someone else entirely.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

Ugh, that comic book is SO boring!
I'll update with the choice time when I find it,
EDIT: I couldn't find it in that video. I distinctly remember making the choice myself (I chose to destroy it).
It must depend on prior choices and maybe what kind of Sheperd you choose to play as?
EDIT2: OK, I see where I got confused. I chose to destroy a base, not trusting the Illusive Man. For some reason I linked this to Maelon's cure data.
I found the comic book to be too shallow to fully explain the characters, so I watched videos of ME1 and ME2. I'm guessing I confused these with the choices I made!
