Topic: MarioKart8 code, oh no? :(

Yo peeps! I might have messed my mk8 promo code up..... i removed the entire grey plastic piece (and there was a code underneath) and then after registering my code a friend tells me: noooo u shouldnt have, ur supposed to remove the layer on the plastic with a coin or w/e. Do any of you know if its the same code? I think it is.... would love a confirm!

@Jazzer94 yeah sorry about that.. im tired, swedish and typing on my cell lol. It was indeed the silver thing that i removed entirely instead of scraping it. But since there was a code underneath i guess its fine, i just got worried since i got told that removing it entirely wasnt the way to do it. Am i making sense now?

The silver colored stuff is on top of that transparent plastic you removed, so it should be the same code you're seeing. Unless removing the plastic accidentally removed a number printed on the paper.

You can scratch it or remove it entirely, I scratch because it is safer.

@jariw thats what i thought too, i dont think it removed any of the code.

Well if you did the code would have been rejected.

In the Scandinavian countries, the rejection process doesn't happen until August when all the codes are processed by NoE.
