Topic: Super Mario Maker - OT

Fine, back to Mario Maker. The demo gave me little reason to be super hyped, but I'm still getting it day one.

Here's Bob-omb Battlefield remade in the game:

@LztheQuack: It's NoJ that's keeping the restrictions up. NoA can't do a thing about the system until NoJ does something, as they can only recommend using loopholes and work directly with YouTubers for now.

The level editor looks so comprehensive. I'm pretty sure people will be able to make their own interpretations of loads of classic 3D Mario levels.

My Amiibo bundle is currently 'Awaiting Stock Pick' on the Nintendo UK Store. Praying this arrives earlier than Friday, I preodered as soon as I could.

I would like to think that Nintendo will allow us to share levels with people on our friends list, but I doubt that it will be included.

Kinda sad that the enemies doesn't do their over world dances during the music anymore. in NWSBU; Koopa Toop and Goomba busting a move every now and then was cute but I think most gamers won't even notice. Not a big loss but something of note.

I've got some great ideas of what I want to do,I hope it comes off like I imagine it to.It's going to be great to see what the NL community can come up with too,I look forward to playing your creations.Will there be a separate thread for sharing our levels?

@octoman2611: Same about the amiibo bundle status, hopefully SMM will be the last time I'll have to put up with Yodel's terrible service.

I think gamexplain already answered this one. No you can't. But it's as simple as just sending them the ID for your level.

Yeah, I saw one during a new episode of Gravity Falls. I wonder if they're promoting it on Adult Swim, I saw a New 3DS commercial there once.

Is the time limit for each level maximal 500?

I don't like time limits and I rather would turn them off. But this is not possible, is it?

I thought I heard someone say there was an Infinity symbol near the time limit option...so I dunno.

I heard that, too, but the recent reviews say all maximal 500 seconds (or Mario seconds ; ).

Yeah that was a fantastic touch. Although you have to wonder; can the Koopas actually hear the music, or are they just randomly practicing their dance moves?

It is possible that maybe the enemies are just sick of the music like the rest of us and stopped dancing.

Jeff brings up a good point about not being able to string your levels together and keep items and 1ups from the previous level. I hope Nintendo incorporates an Over World maker in future DLC. Maybe something simple like, here's a map, place 10 levels in the map and have them all connect.

@OneBagTravel: That would be a big improvement. As far as I can tell 1-ups (and therefore coins) are useless in this game, aren't they?

@bro2dragons: No, 10 and 100 Mario Challenge uses 1-ups.

I dot know why people are compaining anout 500 seconds, that's 7 minutes. Quite a lot of time.
