I know it is a little early to discuss but what the hey. Can't wait till they announce it and release it. I'm sure the graphics will be even more amazing then the arcade Mario Kart games. What tracks would u like to see return for the Classic races?
I hope to see:
-Yoshi's Valley (N64)
-Royal Raceway (N64)
-Ribbon Road (GBA)
-Rainbow Road (GCN)
-Bowser's Castle (GCN)

I don't think they will reuse any classic tracks a 2nd time, at least not with this eventually released installment.

I think they should incorporate both double dash' 2 racers per kart as well as the traditional one racer per kart features.
Here are some comparisons I think would be effective when it comes to racing:

2 racers:
-Can't jump with the drift button
-More effective drifting yet harder to execute.
-2 items can be held at once
-More weight added to kart which means less acceleration.

1 racer:
-Be able to jump with drift button (which means u could probably jump over small obstacles or holes)
-Easier but less effective drifting.
-1 item can be held.
-Less weight added to kart but more acceleration is added.

Thing is, Mario Kart is now changing with each game and it's good because it caters to different players. I dare anyone to challenge me to MKDD and come off victorious against me, but Mario Kart Wii? I just couldn't get the hang of those bikes! As a result, although I'm by no means a bad player, I find myself left behind, esp when playing online. I just don't think they'll bring back the 2-racers to a kart again.

I'd love to see a Rainbow-Road cup, maybe a special one seperate from the 4 standard cups and 4 retro cups, where it has maybe 3 retro Rainbow Roads and one new one, so there are 9 cups altogether. That leaves the final special cup open for an additional racetrack too. With the WiiU's engine I'm sure it can handle it; even if it's only available in 150cc once all the others have been completed (excl mirror mode)

I hope they include a quick run mode in this version just like the Wii and DS installments, that was the one thing i was disappointed in with MK7 which didn't have one.

I'd like to see Yoshi's Valley in all the Wii U's HD glory.

I'd like there to be an option to have two players to one kart. The Wii U seems like a good fit for it, since you can easily have one player on the tv and the other on a gamepad. And if Mario Kart U comes out after Nintendo standardizes two gamepads, then we could have another screen. There could be up to six players playing locally at once.

And bring back the ghost item!

I'm guessing with the gamepad, Nintendo could let u use it an over the top view map similar to the MKDS and MK7, that's what I'm guessing it will be used for, Sonic and All Star Racing Transformed I believe uses the gamepad in that way unless ur playing with the gamepad only.

I think Mario Kart U will come in 2014, as it seems the past few games released every three years.

Some ideas I'd like:

• N64 Toad's Turnpike and N64 Rainbow Road in the retro cups, among others
• Return of single-player Vs. Mode
• Return of some items, such as the fake item box and Boo

Miiverse will really shine with this game, and the online of course will be fantastic.

I want the following:

A much better battle mode. That's been going downhill for years and is nowhere near as good as it either was or could potentially be.

The likes of Bowser's Castle Gamecube, Mushroom City, Wario Coliseum, Wario Stadium, Ribbon Road and Tick Tock Clock as retro tracks.

Tracks in general to be much longer and more interesting than before to show off the sheer technical power of the Wii U. It's HD, it can handle giant levels and detailed graphics, so let's make the most of it.

Some sort of mission or competition mode back.

Could you elaborate on how you think it could be better?

I just hope for better online that doesn't disconnect lot, and hackers to be gone.

Include:

Customization from Mario Kart 7
Air and Sea segments from Mario Kart 7
Double Team Mode option from Double Dash
Motorycycles from Mario Kart Wii

This will give a huge amount of variety and different ways to play!

I want a Rainbow Cup that includes 3 old and one new Rainbow Road course.

Basically, battle mode with last man standing, better and more interesting arenas and the option to decide player count and stuff based on arena size to avoid the matches either lasting forever or being over in ten seconds.

Funny, I was just thinking how awesome Royal Raceway would look remade.

I want this game more than anyone can fathom.

Its a given we will see that game, but I also count it for 2014, what I would really love to see is the following:

• track-editor with some community hub on miiverse or within the game to share and rate user-created content, THIS would be the ultimate show of Nintendo's commitment to online functionality and FUN
• online mode similar to MK7, only with integrated voice chat during the race, maybe even showing a pic of the mii/real photo of the one that's talking
• all past tracks and at least 10 completely new ones (together with the track editor there will be a plethora of tracks to race)
• the ability to have a "kartclub" similar to the features of Forza Motorsport 4 and challenge other kart clubs in tournaments
• the ability to host your own online races complete with free settings about tracks/cups
• more than 3 laps in online-races/lobbies

Thats about it, besides all that I think MK7 was the most perfect Mario Kart so far except ONE thing, that they left out the time-keeping function in normal races (only in time trials they have it).

Wario Colisseum and Rock Rock Mountain returning would be cool. I know it returned in DS, but I'd also like to see Baby Park again. The
Tail and Fire Flower are also weapons I'd like to see return. So long as we never see the Thunder Cloud from MKW again, I'd be happy.

I don't know about you guys, but I'd be ecstatic if they just remastered all of Double Dash.

I wouldn't. I like Double Dash and I like every other game, but I prefer a completely new game with new content to a remake of an older title.

I'm sure Nintendo will make a good Mario Kart. I doubt them bringing back the double player kart. they didn't even bring back bikes to 7, and have diched alot of items over the years, to make the gameplay alot simpler. They need to make a new game, not remake an old one. They could do all this stuff, but it comes down to what they prioritize to make this one different from all the other ones ever made. I just want HD, surround sound, gamepad support, multiple controller support, online, and every thing else that comes standard with an MK game, anything after that is extra.

Would you guys rather have 32 COMPLETELY new tracks, or 16 new, 16 old?
