No arena battles?? How did Nintendo think it was a good idea to replace them with linear, normal tracks that are part of the circuit already? This seems really lazy to me. When I get tired of racing with friends, its always nice to change pace and try to kill each other in a large space with lots of room to chase and hide from opponents.
If they want to balloon popping on a track, fine, make it an option but dont take away one of the key aspects of multiplayer that has been in Mario Kart since the very beginning of the franchise. When i get a new Mario Kart game, the first thing i do is go check out the new arena maps...
I love everything else about this game, but nintendo.... come on.
Well what sense does it make to post a topic as a reply on a topic (what you call a thread unless i am missing something) that has 139 pages of replies, not topics.... with everyone talking about various things, most of which have nothing to do with MK8.
By me making a topic about a subject, it keeps things related to my subject organized.

I agree, though unfortunately the consolidation thing is a nintendolife policy (albeit an extremely stupid policy), so they'll likely lock this one and point you to the main MK8 thread.
