Besides the Special Cup, the Star Cup always seems to get the best tracks.

I'm confused with this free game promotion. in Terms and conditions it says you get a club Nintendo PIN on screen after buying the game from eshop. But don't you get the star points automatically after buying a downloadable copy, without any PIN?http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Campaigns/Mario-Kart-8-Bonus-Game-Promotion/Terms-Conditions/Terms-Conditions-879237.html

Not sure what to think about the battle mode yet. I'm hoping They will bring back some of the old battle courses through dlc.

@Rosalina Having tracks as battle stage just seems to big in my opinion it makes the action seem less frantic and fun.

Surprise, surprise! I disagree. I think that having tracks that can function as battle stages is brilliant. Yoshi Valley and Sherbet land are great choices for this. That said, I still feel they should've made specific battle arenas and just Pitt this alongside of those.

The problem I see is that for some of them you can't turn around quick enough to defend yourself from the rear, the tracks needed to be modified in my opinion.

This, I do agree with, as we saw that Moo Moo Meadows makes for a boring and rather infuriating arena. Not even the God kind of infuriating that Mario Kart is known for.

@Bolt_Strike: Really? It's Gusty Garden Galaxy, though it's only in the latter part of the music. I thought that was obvious.
