Posted: Sun 27th Jan 2013 12:00 GMT The only way I can see a Mario and Sonic crossover platformer having any chance of being really good is if it's completely developed by Nintendo with no input from SEGA whatsoever. That's never going to happen, as SEGA won't let someone else develop a Sonic game without them as long as they're around as a company, and I'm sure Nintendo are smart enough to see that making a crossover platformer with Sonic will be a bad idea and that Mario's just fine by itself.

But that's pretty irrelevant to my post, which is just about them making a Platforming crossover which a few people seem to think would be a good idea. The Olympic Games franchise is pretty mediocre, but its pretty much just there so they can make a quick buck every couple of years. It has a decent purpose for existing. A Platforming crossover would just suck, as it'd be lower in quality than a normal Mario platformer and probably wouldn't sell as well either. Anyway, considering I've already made several posts about this, I don't think anyone really cares that much and it's relatively off topic, I shall stop now.

The Shake King from Wario Land Shake It is basically Bowser in human form as far as general concept and appearance goes, and maybe also in personality. On the topic of Mario Galaxy 3, am I the only one who would love to see a non Galaxy 3D Mario game use space as a level rather than whole game theme? Like how the Mario 64 mod Super Mario Star Road had a space themed level? Always thought a great 3D Mario platformer would have levels based on themes from Super Mario 64, Sunshine and the Galaxy series rather than just taking after any particular one.

Wabowser... or Warowser I would love to see a Rainbow Road zone, kinda like the star zone in Mario World. But that could all tie in with what I was saying about three princess being kidnapped, Rosalina being one of them. Maybe if you rescue all three sequentially, Rosalina first by Baby Bowser and then go off into space where Tatanga has kidnapped Daisy, Rosalina helping you and maybe she turns out to be quite the fighter? HA!
