well this is so vague that might as well be true. no details just a name and a guess too little spice to be a clickbait and too little info to prove anything.

Could be part of their so called licensing of IP thing, Mario Air fresh the mouldy scent of mushroom kingdom for your bathroom, that must be it its an air freshener it all makes sense now.

Edit: Come to think of it, this makes a lot if sense if you think about the Rosalina for SSB trailer. First it made you think "Kirby Air Ride sequel!", and then you thought "Oh, wait, Kirby in Mario Kart?". However, mixing the two together gives you: Mario Air Ride. Take away "Ride" and poof, Mario Air. It also makes sense that they would change it to a Mario game, it would probably attract more players, but it also wouldn't be smart to release it soon, otherwise it would be destroyed by Mario Kart 8.

But this is probably just a false rumor, and I'm just getting my hopes up, only for them to be crushed. sigh

Your picture is inaccurate. There's WAY too much color going on. Where are the realistic greys and greens that make all those games beautiful? Plus, it needs a first person perspective. And a gun upgrade system. And killcams. And two system updates to not crash. All those aspects make a great game, everybody knows that.
