I understand the "I could care less" statement completely, that why I told DudeSean I still do care, just not to that much of an extent.
It's good to know that you do this to everyone. When confronted just pretend you were correct all along. It actually doesn't mean that at all just so you know...

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"

If I actually have to go into further detail about what I mean, then ya, I don't consider myself wrong.
It makes perfect sense that I would still like VC games, but my point was that it's not that important as other subjects, like NEW games.
I even gave reasons why they are not releasing more VC games, and that was to avoid "flooding" a modern day online/app store with old titles. It also helps people focus on smaller ammounts of content at a time and see how special each old game is(that's just my opinion).
People probably wouldn't buy Spelunker(NES) if more VC games were available at a time. It gives a better chance for 3rd party VC games to sell, and build a steady familiarity with what kind of games VC can offer.
So ya, I'm not pretending to know anything. If I was creating BS on the fly, you'd probably actually believe that.
As for VC thing. I really could care less. It's a cool service, but a new game will always get my attention first and foremost. Plus, Wii VC is still there.
These weren't the words of someone trying to claim that they care about the VC at least a little bit and possibly a lot. You were saying that you didn't care about the Wii U VC much at all. Which is exactly where you would normally say that you couldn't care less. Literally that you don't care at all and because of that it's impossible to care less than you currently care.
Which is fine, a pet peeve for a lot of people outside of the US when Americans do it but fine. Usually people let it slide. However in this case when corrected you said no, that was literally what you meant. When ranting about how unimportant the Wii U VC was you were actually saying that you did care about it....
.... although if that was actually what you were saying you would have maybe said: "The VC is a cool service, I could care less BUT it's not that big a deal etc etc"
not "I could(n't) care less. It's a cool service but etc etc"
So yeah, it's good to know you do this to everyone

@skywake
Actually, the sayings are basically identical depending on how you look at it, because I'm overall indifferent. Enough of that though...
@skywake I see what you mean now...Wow.
It was just a simple mistake, and one that many people make. The only thing that stands out here is your refusal to admit it - and its funny to say the least to see you pretending its a real thing. The expression 'I could care less' was born from a misperception of the original phrase and serves no use, because it makes no sense. I just needed to point this out in case you do actually believe what you're saying on some level.
But you're right - lets get back to the topic at hand, whatever that happens to be.
Notice in this scientific chart(LOL), that there are certain intervals. If you are nuetral, it is possible that you could OR couldn't care less, because you can always resort back to that neutral state.
Really, any of the meanings could vary, as far as the middle to left part of the chart is concerned.
If I start to care about VC, then I could care less. If I actually do care less. I would resort back to neutral.
So really, in the end, I'm neutral, and instead of discussing how or why I could care less(or how and why I shouldn't), it was brought up that I either didn't know what I was talking about, or that it didn't mean anything.
Neutral, FTW. BTW, I couldn't care less about being neutral, but that actually means I care.
See how this is can go anyway?
I'm not even thinking about the VC while discussing this, so this thread truly has been derailed.
