They did. It's called Anarchy Reigns.

I doubt we'll ever get one. The first game sold very poorly.

I picked up Madworld for like $5 at a used game store. Maybe less than that... but it's a fun game.

I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I picked MadWorld new for less than 5 euros a couple of years ago and I still regret the purchase. The game is very repetitive and boring. Not surprised that it sold poorly.

It's supposed to be. The whole Beat Em' Up genre is pretty much based around being repetitive.

I personally loved the game.

@Samurai_Goroh

I paid full price when it was released and I don't regret it a single day. It may be repetitive but I found it fun, with nice bosses, hilarious voice over (although that got repetitive too) and a pretty original visual style. Maybe I am biased because I love Platinum Games.

I recently got Anarchy Reigns, I need to try it though.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

Count me in:

I bought it day one, ignored the criticisms of the internets and loved it. Looks amazing on the Wii U gamepad but not as much fun to play on such a small screen.

Also, why is 700,000 sales considered poor in this day and age? I know it's barely a dent on the Wii's total install base but not that many games ever sell more than this.

I loved MadWorld. I still play it from time to time. The black and white graphics were beautiful. The action was super fun. The motion controls worked perfectly. The music I still listen to because I love it so much. The voice acting was perfect. I really love MadWorld and would love a sequel. Anarchy Reigns is no sequel btw.

Amen to that.

I liked what I played of it, but the black and white art style wasn't that great when combined with the Wii's muddy visuals, and the motion controls were irritating. If it could have been played with the classic controller, I likely would have finished it.

I only enjoyed the boss battles and bonus stages of Madworld. While I cannot deny the cool art style and the voice acting, the general gameplay was pretty boring for me. Never finished it and nearly put me off Platinum Games.
