Well if Nintendo keeps up this "HD Remake" thing like they're doing for Wind Waker, then maybe they'll do it for Luigi's Mansion?

I wouldn't mind an HD remake of Luigi's Mansion. It was kind of a short game, too, so it shouldn't take as long to do as Wind Waker.

I honestly don't see much in the topic, but the Gamepad could be used as the flashlight, Poltergeist 5000, and Gameboy Horror. The view would be the same as NintendoLand.

No, no, no. No overhead view. That would be a step backwards. It can stay with the view it has now, but I always wished you could switch which direction you were looking at the room from. That would've made use of the d-pad and would have been beneficial. Well, maybe it could switch to overhead if you press up on the d-pad, but I would not like a permanent overhead view.

I'm buying Dark Moon but I don't think the series is a system seller to be honest.

Not every game has to be a system seller - Sometimes they just have to be software sellers!

Op called Luigi's Mansion a system seller.

Yeah. As much as Sean Malstrom has probably made everyone think all games should be system sellers, not every title needs to be. After all, look at all the great movies, TV shows and games which got a reputation as cult classics. Or which caught on with a smaller but still quite large fanbase. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon will just be one of those.

Just like the original Luigi's Mansion was! I'm not sure if I want Dark Moon or not but I think I share your opinion that it would've looked great on the WiiU! I also think I would definitely buy it if it was but on the 3DS I'm in two minds still. I'll see how the gameplay looks and the reviews!
