Topic: LostWinds Transfer?

I hate to go gravedigging this thread, but do you guys know if anything was ever resolved on this front? This is one of the reasons I have never done a transfer. Also, when it didn't transfer, does it at least leave the game on your Wii, or is it lost in the transition? This problem applies to Lost Winds 2, as well, right?

It does leave the game on the Wii but Lost Winds 2 transfers. I don't think they are ever going to fix this just because it doesn't seem like a big issue to them.

Cool. Thanks for the response. It is a shame that they will probably never fix it, but it's not the end of the world for me since I intend to keep my Wii.

Yea I think a HD collection of both games could work well on the GamePad's touch screen as an eShop title. I know I would double down on it. I would imagine the wind controls would be similar to the Balloon Trip game in NintendoLand

I would love to see a Lost Winds HD or a spiritual successor.

It's really a shame that there still isn't a solution for this. I own still a Wii and not a Wii U, but I'd certainly want to move my purchases to Wii U if I will own one in the future.

A year, and no transfer fix. I'm starting to question whether it will ever happen now. I don't get why it's so hard to fix and why it's the only WiiWare title that has this problem.

Not just LostWinds. ToriBash same problem. At least for me.

And I have ALL demos that were eleased in EU.
4 of them would not transfer either: Goo, Darklord, PKMN Rumble, Fast Draw Showdown.

I'm starting to lose hope regarding this.

But I've contacted Frontier anyway, I want to hear them say that they have not given up on this. If Lost Winds 2 can be transferred then Lost Winds 1 should be also. I don't get it why they can't just modify the code of the game to resemble the second game if that is where the problem is?

maybe becuase it was a launch title? idk
