We already have a thread for all upcoming Wii U eshop titles, but there's no thread for dlc or patches that have been announced! So here it is! This list will include upcoming patches and dlc for both retail and eshop releases!
[Mario Kart 8] 8/27/14: Three new karts based on Mercedes vehicles, course map displayed on the TV, the game will remember your last chosen vehicle part combination, the post race options will no longer default on the replay option, and you will now be able to edit other people's replay data in Mario Kart TV!
[Zen Pinball 2] 8/28/14: Four new tables will be added as paid dlc, including the new The Walking Dead table! Each table will cost $2.99.
[Hyrule Warriors] 2014: Bug fixes, and a new game mode added!
[The Letter] 2014: Improved visual details, new levels, redesigned levels.
[Armillo] 2014?: Bug fixes, unobtainable cube can be reached, ranking medal bugs fixed for many levels, improved frame-rate, and enhanced visuals!
[Shovel Knight] 2014-2015: Three new campaigns where you can play as select members of the Order of No Quarter "Specter Knight, Plague Knight, and King Knight", Multiplayer Battle Mode where players can compete against each other, and Challenge Mode will be added!
Please let me know if I missed anything or if any new dlc or patches have been confirmed for Wii U software and I'll add it to the list! Also could somebody please tell me how to make bold text here at NL? Anyways I hope that this thread proves useful to all of you!
I'm pretty sure Nintendo confirmed a system update for the Smash Bros. Unite launch which implements GC USB support, as well as more stability than anyone could ever handle.

NL: Can you outline the release strategy for this, in terms of a rough price band and plans for additional content down the line? MA: I do have plans to add in 20 FREE new stages in Q2/Q3 2014, with a final batch of 30 FREE additional stages in Q4 2014. Bringing the total number of stages in the game to 80 with no increase in price.
Every Wednesday so far since release in NA (maybe same day in EU?), they'll have new dlc for "ONE PIECE: Unlimited World Red". The dlc range from free, $0.99, $2.99, and $3.99. There is 15 dlc so far.
This week is a Free "Dino Master quest" and a 3.99 dlc "Takiyaki pack" which includes one quest and a costume for Luffy (swimsuit), Sanji (casual vest), and Chopper (Xmas).
