Yep as long as you are in Wii mode and have the appropriate controllers you can play Lego Starwars on the Wii U. As for a new Lego Starwars for the Wii U I am guessing we will probably see one creep up around the time of Episode VII's release.

I just purchased a deluxe WiiU and the Star Wars III game for Wii. My question is how can I play on the tv? My Wii remote plus does not select the tv only box I can ONLY push the + button when that screen comes up which send me to gamepad play only. Help!
That little screen hurts my eyes, I just want to sit on the couch and play off my tv!!
