Is the original, the one that started it all, too sacred to redo? I think it would be interesting to get a 3D Legend of Zelda game. Pretty much have it the same layout (nine dungeons, start with a wooden sword, add a few cinematics, etc.). What say you?
It's not too sacred, it's too archaic.
I think a better question would be, which Zelda game should they remake next? After Majora's Mask for 3DS and a new Zelda for Wii U, and maybe even after another new Zelda game for Nintendo's handheld.
I'm fed up with zelda remakes and ninendo's laziness (60 euros for zelda OOT 3D that is basically an exact copy of the game except some nicer graphics?!) I just want a new zelda and other new titles, not just franchises
...Why would you pay €60 for a game that retails for half that?
Anyway, Majora's Mask 3D would be nice. Any other remakes aren't really necessary.

As nice as a Zelda 1, or Majora's Mask remake for 3DS, and HD re-release/combo disc/download breath! of Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword would be for Wii U I'm just worried about one thing Zelda related right now................................................... HOW ZELDA U IS GOING TO TURN OUT, WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE HOW IT PLAYS FSDGDFGDSG...... sorry even tho Eiji Aonuma said we'd see it E3 2014 I really hope Nintendo at least shows a trailer before then. >.> In 3 years or so another remake will be ok, but not right now oAo ppl already complain over OOT3D and WWHD.... if another remake came out this year or in 2015 dear sweet Star Fox imagine the backlash!

Wind Waker HD was a dumb move. I understand that it was one of the more popular titles, but an HD remake would best serve either a huge hit like OoT or Majora's Mask, or Twilight Princess because of the "realistic" style. Imagine TP with LA Noire level facial detail and HD graphics...
