Topic: Lack of reaction to the Mother 3 punchline

I am just wondering about the lack of reaction to the Mother 3 joke..... are people expecting Mother 3 to be announced before the end of E3, maybe be the secret 3DS game? or people simply don't care.... If Capcom ran a skit where a fan ask about a new Megaman game and an executive shoots him and no Mega Man game was announced by the end of the conference I'm pretty sure the Internet would be crucifying them... so why the lack of reaction?

What Mother 3 joke? In any case wasn't it released on the Gameboy Advance already and a Virtual Console release it's really big news.

I thought it was pretty hilarious tbh, but I'm not a big Earthbound fanatic so I'm not upset by the joke Reggie and Nintendo made.

The same guy was vaporized for mentioning Star Fox. Just tossing that out there.

@ferthepoet I don't think anyone would be crucifying Capcom though... At the very least, this kind of joke shows that the company is aware of the complaints of fans, as ridiculous as they might be sometimes.

I thought it was funny. I thought everything in the Robot Chicken segments were hilarious.

But remember, that guy got blown up when he said something about Star Fox... and it's been announced to be officially in development. Soooooo....

I would be soooo happy if the 3DS game they're gonna spend 90 minutes on turns out to be a remake of Mother 3 (along with Mother 1&2 being released in the VC).

Great. Now I'm gonna be disappointed no matter what else they announce.

For the most part, it's in the back of my head whenever the whole Mother 3 thing is mentioned nowadays. The support has been there for a long time.

It stinks that it's teased like that, but who knows. Now with the GBA available in the virtual console, it's possible it can be released there, in Japan at least.

ive got the whole series on cart cib x2 so..."its not my problem!"
