Will I be able to buy one Day 1 with cash without a preorder? I wasn't a part of the Wii fiasco, but I got lucky at Circuit City. If anything happened to my Wii, I would have been screwed because the Circuit City I bought it from went out of business 6 months later. My Circuit City warranty would have been useless.

@kyuubikid213 I have no idea. The Gamestop I went to when the Wii launched had 2 systems that where not pre-ordered because they needed to have some that where able to be bought off the shelf. They disappeared that night to me and another guy. As for how this one will play out, I have no idea. You can either take a gamble, or scramble for a pre-order.

At the time I pre-ordered at GameStop, they told me try were taking unlimited pre-orders. However, I'm aware of their shady tactics. Wouldn't be surprised if that was a lie.

I just pre-ordered the walmart bundle with NSMB.U, I got it because I only have 1 Wii Remote Plus controler, and I only have 3 in total since one of my other remotes just fissled out a few months ago.

You guys do realize the deluxe version isn't the only one available, right? If getting a WiiU is that important to you, you shouldn't have problems finding one; just get the regular one.

You guys do realize the deluxe version isn't the only one available, right? If getting a WiiU is that important to you, you shouldn't have problems finding one; just get the regular one.
Except the regular Wii U is a terrible deal. $299.99 and only 8GB? Plus you get Nintendo Land included and 32 GB for only $50 more with the deluxe version.

32 GB is kind of horrible too. Chances are you'll end up putting in an external hardrive regardless of which version you use, so it doesn't really matter in that regard, and if you're not buying Nintendo Land, then it actually is the better deal.

Don't forget Nintendo Network Premium or whatever it is, which is potentially the most useful part of the Premium pack if you plan to download a lot.
@MooMoo I don't plan on getting full retail downloads, so it's actually good. I plan on some vc and wiiuware though.
